Dear Chicago,

Dear Chicago,

I don’t think that I will ever be able to leave you for another state till death do us part.  You have so much to offer that has kept me in love for the last 36 years. The sudden change of seasons is one quality that I admire most about you. You never bore me and keep me busy all the time. Whether it’s raking, shoveling, or planting, you have kept me physically active. I owe my good health, peace and happiness to you. I enjoy spending time with you by the lake, where your nickname, the windy city, is truly justified since the winds blow my hair fiercely. My love for you will never die. I will never forget you. Thanks for never having an earthquake or terrible flood. I hope that you continue to be as peaceful as you have always been.

Love always,
Your resident,
Sheila Noorain
