Blue Blue Blue

I feel that "Blue Highways" is a better version of "Travels with Charley." I should feel bad for saying that but I don't. I thought this was more interesting. I also thought of my dad when I read this. He has been bit by the travel bug and is saving up for a trip to go Tibet. Of course this is only when he retires. I understand that although the idea of picking up and just traveling like that sounds so amazing, it isn't possible for many. But then again that's why we have these books so we can live and read vicariously through their experiences. I didn't mind whether what was or wasn't fabricated. It was just honestly a good read.
