Hello again,
Anyone else think that this guy is nuts? Aside from his entertaining persona, Spaulding Gray's oral performance was nothing less of amazingness. I loved the way he built suspense and the way he emphasized dramatic climaxes. Another part of his presentation I observed are the random tangents he goes on or rather rants away from his topic. Whether it is part of his art of storytelling, I don't know. But some how he makes it happen.
The use of music also made scenes very dramatic, which I liked. It made his oral performances ballad like which is cool, I guess.
Overall, I liked Gray's oral performance. It actually made me want to put a camera in front of me and start ranting about stuff and sharing past experiences (thoughts included) and handing that in as a Final Project. Maybe I'll still do it...
